Guided Kayaking - Harrison River

kayaking on the Harrison River

Our trained Guide will meet you at the beach in front of the Resort and give you an overview the trip, the kayak, and safety proecedures.   Leaving from Resort behind you will paddle a short distance down the lake to the mouth of the Harrison River where your journey down the historic Harrison River Begins.

Follow in the footsteps of the early fur traders and later the Fraser Gold Rush.  Pass by First Nation petrographs  and graveyards. With incredible scenery on all sides you will likely see Bald eagles, Herons, Seals and depending on the time of year many more local species.  Our Guide will make sure you see all the sights but avoid any problems along the way.  This is an incredible stretch of river that has been designated BC's first Salmon Stronghold.  This is nature at its best and there is no better way to see it then by kayak.  Once you complete the tour you will be picked up at Kilby Provincial park the end point of the trip and brought back to the Harrison Resort.
