Graham Osborne Photography
Workshop
Go
behind the scenes with professional nature photographer,
Graham Osborne. Hailed as a "Landscape Master" by
Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Osborne has been called one of
British Columbia's and Canada's best photographers by CBC TV and
BCTV.
During
the workshop, Osborne will share some of his tips and secrets to
creating world class publication quality images, including his
personal composition techniques, secrets to maximizing depth of
field, innovative uses of different lens focal lengths, how to
capitalize on the unique light qualities of dusk and dawn and using
the whole frame to create visually focused compositions.
The
workshops are limited to 6 participants to ensure individual
attention. The workshop will begin with a Friday evening lecture by
Osborne on creative imagery and pro field techniques, followed by an
informal wine and cheese reception accompanied by individual
portfolio reviews for those who would like one. Saturday will be a
full day beginning with a dawn shoot and include a private jet boat
tour to explore the spectacular landscapes of Harrison Lake and
River. An evening dusk shoot will finish the day in Harrison and
then to cap things off participants will gather to taste some local
wines and micro brews and have an informal question and answer
period. There will be time allotted for group image review and
feedback for those with digital cameras and laptops.
Three
workshop weekends have been confirmed for 2010 with the April and
May sold out. Space remains in the for the August 13/14
